Story

Mi Mi Vietnamese Restaurant began as a labour of love in 1994 when my mom, Yen, and dad, Phat, opened its doors on Gerrard Street East. Inspired by their passion for authentic Vietnamese flavours and a deep sense of family tradition, they created a place where food was more than a meal—it was an experience.

 

Our family’s journey started in Ottawa, where we lived for two years before settling in Toronto. Here, my parents crafted the recipe for our signature

Do-It-Yourself Platter—a feast of perfectly grilled BBQ meats with a delicate touch of honey, all gluten-free and designed to bring people together.

 

Now, as their daughter, I am honoured to continue their legacy. Mi Mi Vietnamese is still the same welcoming spot it has always been, serving authentic cuisine made with care, love and dedication to the flavours that have kept our guests coming back for decades.
